We are the central service department of the Meier Group and, in the field of furnace and vacuum service, we provide you with decisive support in the maintenance of your systems and components. This offers you an efficient alternative to testing by your own personnel. We have the necessary repair capacities available for various tasks.
In addition to the regular maintenance measures carried out by the plant operator, our work is carried out in accordance with the manufacturer’s regulations, based on EN 1539. We recommend an annual inspection to ensure safe operation. The inspection includes the safety functions of the furnace, such as safe shutdown of the furnace. The operator is obligated in accordance with the German Industrial Safety Regulation Appendix 2 Section 3 Item 5.3 to check the safety functions of work equipment, dryers in which flammable substances are released, manufactured according to DIN EN 1539, annually. The test includes, among other things, the safety functions of the dryer, e.g. monitoring of the minimum exhaust air volume flow or the gas warning device.
We organize a maintenance of your gas warning devices or on your burners by a specialist of the manufacturer, at the same time as our maintenance. For the operator this means cost and time savings, as these services can be carried out together with the annual maintenance.
Production-relevant standard materials such as furnace gaskets, differential pressure switches, filter mats, butterfly valves etc. are always kept in stock.
Your measuring instruments e.g. temperature sensor PT 100 are tested with our calibrated measuring instruments, you will receive a
Test certificate as proof of these services e.g. for audits.
